Gutter Grip® Components

The Gutter Grip® Strip

  • Is available in ZINCALUME® steel, COLORBOND® Ultra steel, COLORBOND® Stainless steel & Stainless steel materials
  • The strip is 500mm long & is screw fixed to the fascia with two screws
  • The strip can be installed at any fall or freeboard that is required
  • When the strips are installed the back edge of the gutter is guided into the strip until the gutter engages the fixing lugs in the strip
  • By using the spacer with the strip, a continuous overflow provision for the gutter is achieved
  • The strips can be installed butted together to provide continuous fixing. However a practice of fixing strips 250mm from internal or external corners & leaving a 500-700mm gap between strips proves more than adequate.

The Gutter Grip® Rod

  • The gutter rod is manufactured from Zinc coated steel & Stainless steel
  • The gutter rod requires no fixings & is designed to engage the front bead of the gutter at one end & clip into the gutter strip at the other providing strength to the front edge of the gutter & maintaining a good line
  • It is recommended that the gutter rod be installed at a maximum of 2m centres. However in snow areas or where support for leaf guard is required rods can be installed at 550mm centres
  • The gutter rod has a unique feature as it can be removed & replaced even when the roof cladding is installed

The Gutter Grip® Spacer

  • The gutter spacer is specially designed to clip onto the back of the gutter strip prior to the gutter strip being installed
  • The spacer is positioned so that when the gutter strip is fixed the screw passes through the spacer & into the fascia - fixes the spacer between the fascia & the gutter strip in one action.
  • The gutter spacer provides a 10mm gap between the fascia & the back of the gutter, therefore providing a 10mm continuous overflow weir gap. Overflow provisions is required to meet the performance requirements of The Plumbing Code of Australia (PCA) & The Building Code Australia (BCA)
